The location of the park was in a lovely area on Chesil Beach, but was within walking distance to Weymouth. The old railway walk from the park into Weymouth along a costal path is well worth doing. Weymouth is a facinating mixture of old harbour and new town, with plenty to do for young and old alike.

I normally stay at a local hotel, so this was my first time at Chesil and I loved every second of it. A fantastic week and I feel so relaxed, I will now use Chesil 3 or 4 times per year when visiting my friends on Portland, no more hotels for me - I am VERY impressed!
